What Flight Opu is

A workflow, briefing and decision-support platform for airline operations control, dispatch and crew. We aggregate publicly available aviation data and apply AI to accelerate routine ops tasks (briefings, NOTAM triage, integration with legacy schedulers).

What Flight Opu is not

  • Not a certified flight planning system. Use Jeppesen JetPlan, Lido/Flight, NavBlue Flight Planning, or your AOC's approved system for the dispatch release.
  • Not a performance / W&B tool. Use the OEM AFM, FCOM, or your operator's certified performance application.
  • Not a navigation system. Maps shown in-app are illustrative.
  • Not an EFB. Not approved under FAA AC 120-76, EASA AMC 20-25 or equivalent.
  • Not an ATC service. Always obtain clearances from the appropriate ATC unit.

AI summaries

NOTAM categorization, severity and plain-English summaries are generated by AI to speed triage. They may misclassify or omit nuance. Always read the raw NOTAM text — it is shown in full beneath every summary and is the authoritative record.

Weather

METAR, TAF and SIGMET data are pulled live from the NOAA Aviation Weather Center. Issuance times are shown. If the feed is unavailable, the platform clearly indicates "fallback" or "no data" — do not assume silence means clear conditions.

Fuel & performance figures

Any fuel, range, time-en-route or alternate-suitability figure shown in Flight Opu is a planning estimate, not a certified calculation. It must be verified against your operator's approved performance source before flight.

Pilot in Command authority

Nothing in Flight Opu modifies, delays or supersedes the authority of the PIC under ICAO Annex 2, FAA 14 CFR §91.3, EU 965/2012 CAT.GEN.MPA.105, or equivalent national rules.
