Terms of Service

Last updated: June 29, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Flight Opu (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (an "Operator"), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Nature of the Service

Flight Opu is an operational decision-support and workflow platform. It aggregates aviation data (METAR, TAF, NOTAMs, SIGMETs) from public authorities and provides AI-assisted summaries, briefing templates, and integration tooling.

Flight Opu is NOT:

  • A certified flight planning system or Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Type B application;
  • A source of certified aircraft performance, weight & balance, or fuel calculations;
  • A navigation system or replacement for AFM/QRH or operator OM-A/B/C;
  • An air traffic service or ATC clearance source.

The Pilot in Command (PIC) and licensed dispatcher remain solely responsible for the safe planning and conduct of every flight, in accordance with the operator's AOC, ICAO Annex 6, FAA / EASA / GCAA / DGCA / CAAC and other applicable regulations.

3. Account and Access

You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the Service for the dispatch release of any commercial flight unless properly cross-checked against your certified flight planning system.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, scrape at abusive volumes, or resell the Service without written authorization.
  • Do not upload data you are not authorized to share (crew PII, AOC documents, customer manifests of third parties, etc.).

5. Data Sources & Accuracy

Weather data is sourced from NOAA Aviation Weather Center. NOTAM data is sourced from the FAA NOTAM Distribution System (DINS) and equivalent national authorities where available. AI-generated summaries are provided for convenience only — the raw source text is the authoritative record and must be reviewed by the crew. Flight Opu makes no warranty as to the timeliness, completeness, or accuracy of third-party data.

6. Subscription, Fees & Billing

Paid plans are billed per flight per day or per the volume tier selected at signup. Volume discounts apply automatically above 1,500 flights/week. Enterprise pricing is negotiated separately. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flight Opu and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, fuel, schedule integrity, slot, or aircraft, arising out of or related to use of the Service. Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Flight Opu in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flight Opu from any claim arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) your operational decisions, or (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable aviation law.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate for convenience with 30 days' notice. We may suspend access immediately for breach of acceptable use or non-payment.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of London, United Kingdom.
